The Children's Garden Menu

Menu

Our menu is on a four-week rotation to ensure that the children to not get bored of the same food.  Nova Scotia has lots of regulations surrounding the food that the children are served, and we always follow these regulations.  The morning and afternoon snacks we provide are always comprised of two food groups, one of which has to be a fruit or vegetable, along with water.  Our lunches always supply the children with all four food groups and includes a glass of milk.  Sometimes the vegetables are hidden in casseroles and sauces if you don't see them listed.  If your child has any allergies or sensitivities, or if you have religious beliefs and your child cannot eat certain foods, please inform us and we will gladly make the necessary adjustments to the food served to your child.  We do ask, however, that if your child drinks a milk other than what we serve here (homogenized dairy milk) you bring this for your child.  Take a look at our delicious and nutritious menu!
